I am simply overwhelmed by the support throughout our country! While I’ve always felt that my own Department of Alaska had my back, it sure it heartwarming to know that Legion Family members in Arizona support me as well!
They’ve been planning a Fundraiser for Team Alaska’s drive to see me as the American Legion Auxiliary’s National President for some time. And then we had a little thing like a pandemic interfere! So instead of cancelling the idea, they just postponed it!
If you happen to be in the Phoenix/Mesa area on March 12th, I’d be honored if you joined us. They have everything you can think of lined up – food, music, door prizes, a costume party, auctions – both outcry and silent! Hope to see many of you there!
And SUPER THANKS to the Department of Arizona for your amazing support! Of course, thank you to the entire Legion Family throughout out great country but this is above and beyond.
