Thank you for your interest in the 2023-2024 National President’s Homecoming! We are excited to see all our Legion Family during September 28-30, 2023 in Fairbanks!
As a reminder, registration is open. And you might want to act sooner than later.
We have confirmed tours at both Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base. However, access to these military installations is requiring a pre-screening process; we must provide each attendee’s name and identification to them NOT LATER THAN August 22, 2023. So if you’re interested in touring FT WW and EAFB, REGISTER NOW! DO NOT DELAY! That is only a week away.
Also, per our Entry Authority List memorandum, cameras and picture taking will not be authorized within the controlled areas, limited and exclusion areas if if our tours takes us into any of theses areas. Attendees must follow the directions of of our guides while on the tours.
We are scrambling now to determine “Plan B” for those that register after that date. Adapt and overcome, as they say.
When you register, make sure to to include your arrival and departure information. We are working on arrangements for airport shuttles for Thursday through Sunday, and we would hate to miss anyone.
