After 24 months, we will finally get to go to National Convention! Of course, I’m still holding my breath that all will still be ON!  I can’t wait to get to Phoenix  during August 27 – September 2, 2021.  (We see what just happened with the Summer Olympics in Japan and it’s just two weeks away.)  So I ask you all to be diligent, get your vaccines, wash your hands, stay distanced with in public and I hope to see you all at the end of August.

I am absolutely thrilled to see old friends, make new ones, attend to business face-to-face, elect new officers and just have some fun!  As a sneak peak of things being planned, no one can tell you better than our National President Nicole Clapp – click on this link to see a short video https://fb.watch/6EMGWZB4Si/

At the end of the convention, if all goes well and I keep my nose clean, I should be ratified as the National Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Chairman for the American Legion Auxiliary – just one more step in the journey to become National President.

For planning purposes, perhaps you’d like to pencil in the next few National Conventions:

  • Milwaukee, Wisconsin – August 26-September 1, 2022
  • Charlotte, North Carolina – August 25-31, 2023
  • New Orleans, Louisiana – August 23-29, 2024

But first let’s meet in Phoenix and Celebrate A Century of Service.
