The support of Alaska’s Legion Family is simply overwhelming. The Legion Family at Post 29 in Anchorage has offered to host a “Congratulations Fundraiser” after we return from National Convention.
It is slated for September 17, 2022 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Muldoon Post 29, located at 1467 Muldoon Road in Anchorage. They have planned 50/50 raffles, silent auctions, a bake sale (ohhhh Darrel………) and much much more.
All proceeds will go to the ALAska Leadership Development Fund.
On a personal note, I want to thank everyone for their continued help and support to see me elected as Alaska’s very first American Legion Auxiliary National President. Not gonna lie – there are times I wanted to throw in the towel, but with your backing and maybe even a kick in the pants, I knew I could push on. And it’s really about our Mission of supporting our military, our veterans and their families. #MissionDriven
