Our very own Lisa Williamson is now serving as the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) National President for 2023-2024! This is very exciting for our American Legion Family here in Alaska.

Lisa’s resume of service and accomplishments on behalf of the entire American Legion Family is long and varied. She has served her Unit, the Department of Alaska and the National organization for 30 years, always keeping in mind we are a FAMILY.

To support Lisa, a campaign committee “Team Alaska” has been established along with an Alaska Leadership Development Fund. Alaska has never had the opportunity to be honored in having one of their own slated to hold the office of ALA National President. As you might guess, the activities to make this dream a reality are a costly endeavor. The success of this quest will be centered on our Post, Units, Squadrons and Chapters, and as always, our members. We are hopeful that all entities of Alaska’s Legion Family will support Lisa.

Lisa has shown her dedication to The American Legion Family through her years of service to our FAMILY – The American Legion Family, and we cannot be more proud of her. It is now time for us to step forward and show support. She will do Alaska proud and deserves the support of everyone to make this a reality.
